Worked on a transformational project undertaken by Bell Canada finance department to enhance financial controls and governance across the company. The overall project objective is to provide value-added services to support management decision-making and reduce costs for people, processes and technology:

* Scorecards customized to the Presidents of each unit

* Breakdown revenues and expenses by segment. Revenues and expenses between subsidiaries

* Allocate support costs to appropriate market segments and provide “true” profitability figures

* Implement a new Accountability model (compliance to Sarbanes-Oxley)

* Automate non-value added activities related to month-end closing and external reports

* Single customizable data source to power all financial reporting and KPIs

* Replace/Eliminate/Integrate existing systems and services into one self-serve Portal

 

1997 – 2003       Pratt & Whitney Canada & CSC

* Visioning of required transformation steps and challenges to achieve project’s business objectives.
